This week’s GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Feb. 19 is women’s track freshman Adria Magnusson.

Magnusson set all of the five new school-best marks at the Cornell Invite this past Saturday, led by a pair of new program bests by first-year Bonnie Adria Magnusson. She posted new program records in both the 400 (1:01.92) and the 800 (2:26.47).
 
The Ridgway, Pa. native crushed the old Bona record in the 400, beating it by over three and a half seconds. In Saturday's race, she placed third out of 24 competitors.
 
In the 800, she broke her own record which stood for only two weeks. She just clipped her previous mark of 2:26.90 posted at Brockport and finished fifth in the race out of 17 runners.
