The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending March 12 is women’s lacrosse sophomore Fiona McGovern.

McGovern posted a stellar day on the field to help the Bonnies claim their first conference victory since the 2017 season and first win over VCU in program history this past Saturday.
 
The second-year attacker recorded a career-high eight points with six goals and two assists Saturday afternoon to open up A-10 play.
 
This marks the third contest in her young career that she has scored six goals in a single game, previously notching six scores earlier this season against Pac-12 powerhouse Arizona State.
 
The Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. sits tied for fourth with Destinee Johnson (2020) and Laura Spalding (2002) for goals scored in a single game.
