The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending April 18 is men's diving senior Michael Bruno.

Bruno won a gold medal and was selected as the Atlantic 10 Men's Most Outstanding Diver at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships.

He becomes the first St. Bonaventure diver to earn Most Outstanding Diver honors since Alex Marra in 2015.

Bruno posted a final score of 344.60 in the 3-meter dive, winning the gold medal for the Brown and White.

Thursday afternoon in the 1-meter dive, Bruno turned in a strong performance with a fourth-place finish with a score or 305.70.

The Bonnies men's swim and dive team finished in fifth place overall at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championships.
