The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending April 4 is baseball senior Tyler Kelder.
Kelder carried a .625 batting average in four games on the road at George Mason last weekend. Also in those four games, Kelder accumulated a .667 on-base percentage and a 1.312 slugging percentage.
Kelder was 10-for-16 in the series with seven extra-base hits, including five doubles and two home runs.
In game one April 2, Kelder went 3-for-5 with three doubles, driving in a run.
In the Bonnies doubleheader Saturday afternoon, Kelder was 5-for-7 combined with two home runs and four runs scored.
Kelder added a pair of doubles in the series finale Sunday afternoon.
Now with 21 career homers, Kelder passed Brian Howell '95 for seventh all-time in the Bonnies record books.
The Bonnies remain on the road as they travel to take on Fordham April 9.
