St. Bonaventure

Piper had a phenomenal performance in the season opener at Akron last Wednesday. Piper scored five goals and added an assist for her first career six-point game. 
 
She netted her first of the day as time winded down in the first frame and did the same heading into the half. In the third, she scored the Bonnies sixth goal of the day before assisting on Jessica Notaro’s goal minutes later. She put up two more in the fourth to round out an outstanding first game of the year. 
 
The Aurora, Ontario native went 2-for-2 on free position shots and added to her stat line with three ground balls.
