Essamvous nearly couldn’t miss in two games last week, averaging 19.0 points per game while shooting 76.5 percent from the floor overall (13-17) and 75 percent from distance (9-12).
 
He had one of the best perimeter shooting performances in school history Wednesday at Fordham as he set a program record for 3-pointers in a game without a miss as he went 7-for-7 from beyond the arc for a career-high 23 points. 
 
The Libreville, Gabon native followed that up by scoring 15 points in an overtime win over Davidson on Saturday. He also did not commit a turnover in over 60 minutes of game action and handed out three assists.
