Winters wrote new Bonnies history as well during the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championships held at George Mason over the weekend.

In Saturday night's 3000-meter steeplechase championship race, Winters shattered her school record by over 15 seconds as she clocked in at 11:11.20. 

She finished 10^th in the race which is the highest finish ever for a Bonnies women's runner in any event at A-10 Outdoor Championships.
