Damore carded a career-best round of 2-under 69 at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate held at Kilmarlic Golf Club.
 
The Warren, Pa. native shined in the final round last Tuesday as he birdied two par-4s in the first three holes before playing the next three holes in 3-over to move out of red figures. He got things going again with two more birdies on par-4s before making par and then sinking another bird on the par-5 ninth to go out in 33. Two more birdies came on back nine par-5s before draining his eighth and final birdie on the par-3 17th.
 
He opened the three-day tournament with 1-over 72 followed by 77 in the second round. He posted a 54-hole total of 218 to tie for 25th in the field of 72 players.
 
Damore posted a strong fall season, earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors Oct. 14.
