The GoBonnies.com CPL Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 13, 2022 is men’s lacrosse senior Austin Blumbergs.
 
Blumbergs scored six goals this weekend in a home-and-home series against Cleveland State.
 
The Penn Yan, N.Y. native led the team with four goals and added an assist Friday evening to propel St. Bonaventure to a 12-5 victory.
 
On Sunday afternoon Blumbergs put two in the back of the net, including one goal that would help the Bonnies come back in the second half and lead to another victory against the Vikings.
 
This season he is fourth on the team with 11 goals as the Bonnies finished non-conference play at 5-2 overall.
