@BonniesMSoccer Set For VCU And George Mason In Pivotal Weekend Matches

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team closes out the 2013-14 season at home this weekend in two crucial matches as the team battles for a postseason berth. On Friday, the Bonnies play host to VCU at 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday vs. George Mason at 1:00 p.m. in the team's regular season finale and senior day.

About the Bonnies

  • St. Bonaventure continues play at home this weekend after a 2-1 loss to the UMass Minutemen last Sunday.
  • The Bonnies currently sit in the 9th spot in the A-10 Standings heading into this weekend with a conference record of 2-3-1. Only the top 8 teams advance to the A-10 tournament.
  • Senior Emmett O'Connor continues to pace the Bonnies with eight goals and five assists off his team-leading 52 shots which places him 3rd in the conference, just ahead of teammate Brad Vanino who sits in 4th place in shot attempts.
