The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team plays their first night game at the Marra Athletics Complex as they welcome the St. Francis (Pa.) Red Flash on Friday night.
The Bonnies are coming off a tough loss against the Bowling Green Falcons last Sunday. The game remained close up until the 77th minute when BGSU was able to break the scoreless tie. The Falcons went on to win the game, 1-0. Despite the loss, St. Bonaventure outshot Bowling Green, 16-14.
The game will be game two of a day-night doubleheader; the Bona women will host Binghamton at 3:30 p.m. There will be a fan tailgate party from 5-7 p.m. with hamburgers and hot dogs compliments of St. Bonaventure Athletics.

Scouting The Bonnies:
- Throughout the first five games of the season, St. Bonaventure has registered two goals on 24 shots on target. The Brown and White are averaging 11.4 shots per game.
- Freshman Kieran Toland leads the Bonnies with 15 shots, nine more than his closest teammate. Toland currently ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 with averaging three shots per game. The Paisley, Scotland native has one goal on the season.
- The United Kingdom connection of Toland, Jaskamal Singh and Eddie Keen have led the Brown and White this season, as they have tallied each point registered by a Bona player this season.
- In the net, Jeremy Figler has started all five games for the Bonnies. Figler has posted 18 saves on the season. The redshirt senior currently ranks ninth in the A-10 as he averages 3.6 saves per game.
- Next, St. Bonaventure travels Midwest to face the No. 8 Saint Louis Billikens (7-2, 0-0) on Sunday, October 5 at 2 p.m. The Billikens suffered their second loss of the season on Wednesday against Indiana, 3-1.
Scouting The Red Flash:
- Saint Francis is currently 6-3-1 this season and had key victories over George Washington, West Virginia and most recently Marshall on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
- The Red Flash were tabbed to finish second in the Northeast Conference, tied with Fairleigh Dickinson.
- Out of the 10 goals for the Red Flash this season, Francis de Vries has notched four of them. Vries leads the team with eight points and ranks fourth on the squad with 10 shots.
- The Saint Francis netkeeper, Andrew Garcia, has recorded 47 saves and six shutouts this season.
