Kieran Toland scored both goals for St. Bonaventure, the second coming as time expired in the first overtime period to lift the Bonnies to a stunning 2-1 victory over NJIT.

Toland got the scoring started early. In the 8th minute Highlander goalkeeper Christian Foust misplayed an entry pass that bounced straight to Toland who deposited the ball into the middle of the net for the easy goal giving St. Bonaventure the early 1-0 advantage.

NJIT would draw even in the 40th minute. Mamadou Guirassy was able to emerge from a crowd in front of Bonnies goalkeeper Bobby Diaz and chipped the ball into the back corner of the net for the game tying goal.

The game would stay even over the final 45 minutes of regulation and for most of overtime. With only 15 seconds left on the clock, the ball was chipped in towards the net, eventually settling to Toland, who spun and snuck the ball just under the cross bar as time expired to give St. Bonaventure the stunning 2-1 win.

In net Bobby Diaz played a solid game for St. Bonaventure Limiting NJIT to only one goal while making 8 saves.
