The Short Story:

Hartwick scored the only goal of the game in the 54th minute and held on to defeat St. Bonaventure 1-0 Monday night in men's soccer action.

Jack Miller centered a pass to Wyatt Scott who took a shot that redirected off a Hartwick player and rolled into the back of the net for the only game of the match. That would be enough as St. Bonaventure was unable find the back of the net the rest of the game.

St. Bonaventure had chances throughout the game, but was unable to capitalize as they were shutout for the first time this season.

Bobby Diaz kept St. Bonaventure within a goal with a number of critical stops. Overall, he would face eight shots, stopping seven of them.

Coaches Corner:

Coach Oduro was pleased with his team's effort throughout the night "Our team has a never give up attitude which is great, I think the last 20 min. there showed that. We just weren't clinical enough in front of the goal" Coach Oduro said "We had two or three clear chances where we could have tied the game, but we just couldn't connect"
