St. Bonaventure will host the Army Black Knights in a Rugby East match tonight, September 23, at the Marra Athletics Turf Complex. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. The Bonnies will look to improve upon their 1-1 record in conference play, while the 2-0 Cadets from West Point try to remain undefeated.

Last Saturday the Bonnies were on the road, falling 62-15 to Wheeling Jesuit.

"We're looking to better our performance defensively and in the scrum this week," said head coach Tui Osborne.

Army is coming off a dominant display against West Virginia, shutting out the Mountaineers 64-0 at home last week. Their performance saw them move up to #7 in the D1A Rugby national rankings after being ranked #10 the week before.

In 2014 the Bonnies also hosted Army on Family Weekend, narrowly falling 36-22 in front of a raucous throng of supporters.

"It's always exciting to play at home," said freshman back Jaret Williamson. "It's where we practice and feel most comfortable, and now with it being Family Weekend we are excited to get out there and improve from last week."

Williamson scored his second try as a Bonnie in the loss to Wheeling Jesuit.

Another big crowd is expected for the 2016 Family Weekend clash. Students are encouraged to bring their families to the Marra Athletics Turf Complex for fast-paced Rugby East action.
