CLEVELAND, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team fell to Cleveland State on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.
Guillermo Garcia earned a win at No. 3 singles after he battled his way into the third set and came away victorious.
In No. 2 singles, Hector Martinez took the first set 6-4, but ultimately fell to his opponent in three sets.
In No. 3 doubles, the pair of John Rutkowski and Garcia worked a 6-3 score as they played their opponents close.
With the loss, the Bonnies fall to 3-7 on the season. The Brown and White will be in action again on Wednesday, March 1 as they play host to Wright State at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center.
