On Saturday, November 4th, the #18 St. Bonaventure Bonnies travelled to Ohio to take on the #14 Notre Dame College Falcons. It was a defensive battle to start, but NDC scored first. The Bonnies bounced back and scored a penalty kick and a try before the half giving the Bonnies the lead 10-7. The Falcons came out firing and scored to start the second half, but the Bonnies wouldn't give up. It was all SBU after that, and the Bonnies scored four tries to end the game. #18 St. Bonaventure University would go on to beat #14 Notre Dame College 32-14 after a great game of rugby!
Next Sunday, November 11th, the Bonnies will host #10 Kutztown at the Marra Athletics Complex. Kutztown is having a good season, as most expected. They beat Wheeling Jesuit, University at Buffalo, and Notre Dame College, but have also lost to Army and Penn State. St. Bonaventure has had the same exact results in their season as well. The winner of this tiebreaker will be in third place in Rugby East. This is sure to be an exciting game, so make sure you don't miss it!
