NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team scored victory in 12 events on the way to a 162-136 win against Niagara, who had a 6-0 dual meet record coming in to Saturday afternoon.
 
Five Bonnies scored multiple individual victories.
 
Senior Claire Schaef was victorious in the 1000-freestyle (10:39.81) and 200-freestyle (1:57.76). She ended her afternoon with a win in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:15.11.
 
Fellow senior Zanre Oberholzer was victorious in the 100-backstroke (57.76) and the 200-backstroke (2:07.31).
 
Not to be left out was senior reigning Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week Rachel Kimmel who ended her great dual meet season with victories in the 100-breaststroke (1:03.16) and the 200-breaststroke (216.93). She placed second in the 200-IM, touching the wall in a time of 2:09.16.
 
In the 200-butterfly, redshirt freshman Silvana Cabrera picked up a victory with a time of 2:08.19. Also, with a time of 58.74, she was victorious in the 100-butterfly.
 
The 200-medley relay team of Oberholzer, Kimmel, Cabrera and freshman Halle Myers picked up a win with a time of 1:47.28.
 
On the diving boards, junior transfer Amanda Baird continues to be impactful since joining the Bonnies this semester. She earned victories in the 1-meter dive with a score of 238.28 and the 3-meter with a score of 259.80.
 
The Bonnies will compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 19.
