ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team took down rival Niagara, 4-3, Friday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center on Senior Day.

The match started with the Bonnies sweeping doubles play, taking the team point into singles action.

Alexandra Jansson, Floor Lissone and Anastasia Gubanova each earned straight-set victories in singles play for the Bonnies, clinching the victory.

Jansson bested Coral Rodriguez at the No. 1 flight, 6-4, 7-5 while Lissone was victorious at No. 3 over Erika Gonzalez, 7-6, 6-1. Gubanova rounded out the wins with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Jaida Borg at No. 4.

The Bonnies are back in action Friday, March 25 on the road at Duquesne. That match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
