PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped a pair of conference matches to Duquesne and Dayton Friday and Saturday at the Alpha Tennis Center in Pittsburgh.

The Bonnies fell to Duquesne, 6-1, Friday evening and then were defeated by Dayton in a close match, 4-3, Saturday afternoon.

Against the Dukes, Anastasia Gubanova bested Daniela Latoni at No. 4 singles in three sets, 6-7, 6-4, 10-8.

In Saturday's match against the Flyers, Alexandra Jansson, Amelia Haley and Gubanova all won in singles action. Jansson and Gubanova were victorious in straight sets while Haley needed three sets to claim the win.

Dayton, however, was able to grab the doubles point at the beginning of the match, ultimately earning the Flyers the victory.

The Bonnies are off until Saturday, April 9 when they travel to take on Colgate.
