PALM BEACH, Fla. – Erik Stauderman's first round 2-under 70 highlighted two days of competition for the St. Bonaventure golf team Monday and Tuesday at The Falls Club.
The Bonnies finished 10th out of 11 teams with a total score of 900 (300-297-303).
Stauderman finished with a final round of 78 to tie for 28th in the field of 60 competitors at 6-over 222.
Teammate Christian Chapman completed the two-day invitational with a score 10-over 226, placing him tied for 35th. Chapman's shot his best score in round two with 2-under 70.
Danny Gianniny was third on the team in scoring finishing with a total score of 12-over 228 with his best round coming in the third round (72).
Jack Geise (78-74-76/228) and Jude Cummings (81-81-77/239) also competed in the lineup for St. Bonaventure.
The two-day invitational marks the best finish of the season for Stauderman and ties his lowest score of 70 in a round.
Gianniny and Stauderman each had two eagles in the event, while Geise (33) and Chapman (32) led the Bonnies in holes that were parred.
The Bonnies will travel to Williamsburg, Va. to compete in the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate beginning Monday, March 28.
