ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team split a pair of weekend matches against Siena and Bucknell.
The Bonnies fell to the Bison, 6-1, on the road Saturday afternoon before bouncing back at home, taking down the Saints, 5-2, Sunday.
Bona's earned wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to grab the team point for the early lead against Franciscan sister school Siena.
Alexandra Jansson, Amelia Haley, Floor Lissone and Anastasia Gubanova all won in straight sets during singles play to secure the victory.
Lissone registered the lone team point for the visitors Saturday against Bucknell, taking down Tyne Miller at the No. 3 spot, 6-1, 6-1.
The Bonnies are back in action Friday, March 11 at home against Niagara, starting at 3:00 p.m.
