NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – St. Bonaventure University women's tennis freshman Floor Lissone has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, conference officials announced Tuesday.

A native of Tiel, Netherlands, Lissone was pivotal in the Bonnies' 4-3 victory over Colgate last Saturday, capping off a comeback from 3-0 down.

Lissone bested Colgate's Rebecca Wolf in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3, at No. 3 singles to complete the comeback victory for the Brown and White.

The freshman is 9-5 overall in singles action and 5-3 in doubles play in her first season with the Bonnies.

The Bonnies return to the court Friday, April 15 on the road at Richmond. That match is slated for an 11:00 a.m. start.
