ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team fell to Mercyhurst, 5-2, Tuesday morning at the University Fitness Center.

Scoring wins for the Brown and White were Tamara Bachmann and Kelly Barnes.

Bachmann picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles while Barnes captured a victory at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles action, Kashish Bote and Gabriella Blumberg earned a 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot, but the Lakers were able to take the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.

The Bonnies are back in action on Saturday when they travel to take Saint Joseph's.
