Gianniny's Stellar Round Highlights Final Day at A-10 Championship

Fifth-year senior shoots 69 to pace Bonnies

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Danny Gianniny finished his outstanding St. Bonaventure career with a sterling final round of 3-under 69 to wrap the Atlantic 10 Championship Sunday morning at Reunion Resort. As a team, the Bonnies finished eighth overall on the team leaderboard.

Gianniny posted rounds of 72-75-69 for a 216 total and a tie for 14th overall in the field of 55 players. In his final collegiate round, he recorded five birdies and for the week he was fifth among all players in par-4 scoring (-2) and drained 10 birdies in total at the 7,154-yard layout.

Fellow fifth-year senior Christian Chapman also completed his Bonnies career in fine fashion, carding 72. He turned in rounds of 74-73-72 for a 219 total and tie for 23rd overall. The highlight of his round came on an eagle at the par-5 first along with four birdies. Chapman's eagle came as one of just six in the field for the week.

Erik Stauderman logged a final round 76 for a 220 total (71-73-76) and a tie for 28th on the individual leaderboard.

Bona's third fifth-year senior, Jack Geise posted 77 to conclude the week at 74-76-77 and tied for 39th.

Davidson won the championship by two strokes over VCU with a winning team score of 851.
