2023 Bonnies Softball Schedule Released

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University softball head coach Mike Threehouse has announced the 2023 spring schedule.

The 2023 slate is highlighted by 20 games on home turf at Joyce Field.

The Bonnies get underway in tropical Honolulu, Hawaii at the Hawaii Invitational Tournament Feb. 23-26 and then at the Hawaii Spring Fling March 2-5. Joining the Bonnies at the Hawaii Invitational is Hawaii, Seattle, Marist and Memphis. The Hawaii Spring Fling field includes Hawaii, Pacific, Utah, Santa Clara and Niagara.

The Brown and White visit Hawaii every four seasons, marking the fourth trip for Coach Threehouse's teams.

Once back on the East Coast, the Bonnies are slated for a two-day trip to the Mount St. Mary's Tournament March 11-12. The Mount is coached by 2007 St. Bonaventure graduate Anna Nagro who is Mount St. Mary's all-time leader in coaching wins with 203 in 12 seasons.

Bona's gets Atlantic 10 play started March 18-19 on the road at Saint Louis. Bona's road A-10 slate includes stops at UMass (April 15-16) and George Washington (April 22-23).

The Bonnies will make their 2023 home debut March 21 against rival Buffalo.

Following their first home action of the season, the Bonnies head back out on the road for a weekend series at Fordham March 25-26 and then a doubleheader at Youngstown State March 29.

The first home A-10 series of the season features conference newcomer Loyola Chicago April 1-2. The Bonnies will also host to George Mason (April 7-8), Dayton (April 12), Rhode Island (April 29-30) and Saint Joseph's (May 6-7) during Atlantic 10 play.

SBU will play home-and-home series with Canisius and Niagara this season. The Bonnies visit Canisius April 5 and then host the Griffs April 11. Niagara comes to Joyce Field April 18 and the Bonnies head to Niagara Falls May 3.
