ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University Athletics and the Bonnies men's soccer program mourns the loss the Hall of Fame member Joe Trabold, who passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 4, 2023.
"It is a heavy loss when it is one of our own," Director of Athletics Joe Manhertz said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
Trabold was the first Bonnies men's soccer player to earn induction into the St. Bonaventure Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.
He is the program's all-time leader in goals with 50 and ranks second in the record book in career points, registering 116 from 1984-86.
During the 1984 season, Trabold set the program record with 22 goals, a mark that still stands. Trabold also holds the program record with 54 points during the 1984 campaign.
