ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Junior Umechi Akuazaoku's brace propelled the St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team to 2-0 victory over Duquesne in non-conference action Wednesday evening at the Marra Athletics Complex.
Akuazaoku put the Bonnies (5-5-3) ahead for good in the 37th minute when Dean Mercer played a ball back into the box where Akuazaoku was waiting. He chipped the shot over and past the goalkeeper, giving Bona's a 1-0 lead.
