ALLEGANY, N.Y. - Bonaventure falls in a close defensive battle Saturday afternoon. 

 

The Bonnies entered the match riding a three-game-win streak and hoped for another victorious performance.  

 

The pack saw strong leadership from Matthew Conroy, senior captain, and fought until the final whistle. 

 

"We knew it was going to be a tough game, a real battle, and that's definitely what both sides delivered. In some tough, wet conditions, the boys showed some real grit and heart defending our line and exit effectively, as well as putting some real pressure on Navy at multiple points throughout the game," said Conroy. 

 

Bonaventure now looks to the road again as the group is set to travel to Emmitsburg to face Mount St. Mary's this Saturday.
