ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team captured a 6-1 victory over Mercyhurst Sunday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center.

The Bonnies started the match with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles flights to capture the doubles point from the Lakers.

Moving into singles action, the Bonnies secured wins at five out of the six spots, earning the team victory.

Rasmus Egehus, Jean Marrero and Norka Sanchez all earned wins in straight sets while Connor Turner and Luke Young each battled to three-set victories.

The Bonnies are back in action Sunday, Feb. 19 when they host Saint Francis (PA).
