ST. BONAVENTURE (0-2) at ROBERT MORRIS (1-0)
Tuesday, Feb. 21 – 4:00 p.m.
Moon Township, Pa.

The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse team has a quick turnaround as the Bonnies look to regroup from an overtime heartbreak this past Saturday by heading to Robert Morris Tuesday afternoon. Faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Note, no live stream will be available for Tuesday's game. Live stats will be available through RMUColonials.com.

LAST TIME OUT
St. Bonaventure rallied from five goals down early on Saturday to force overtime vs. Binghamton in the home opener. Binghamton was able to capture a 12-11 win, however, with a man-up goal in extra time.

BACK IN ACTION
A pair of Bonnies seniors returning from injury have made an impact early this season – both Jake Rosa and Mark Belles have impressed in their first games back. Rosa, working his way back from a knee injury late last season, scored four goals and five total points in Saturday's game, his seventh career game of five or more points. The 2021 MAAC Offensive Player of the Year has eight points through two games.

Belles scored a goal and handed out an assist in each of the first two games of the year after missing all of last season. He enters this week with four points in 2023.

NOLAN NAMED TOP ROOKIE
Bonnies freshman faceoff specialist Quinn Nolan earned a bit of program history Monday as he became the first SBU player to earn an Atlantic 10 weekly award. He was named the league's Rookie of the Week after 13 faceoff wins vs. Binghamton. After two weeks, he has 24 faceoff wins, 13 groundballs and a goal.

WORKING OVERTIME
Saturday's game was just the second overtime contest in Bonnies Division I history. SBU won in extra time at VMI last season and is now 1-1 all-time in overtime games.

LYNCH LEAVES STRONG IMPRESSION
Senior goalie Conan Lynch gave the Bonnies a lift in a reserve role in Saturday's game. He entered late in the first quarter and stemmed the tide with the Bearcats rolling in the early going. Lynch helped keep Binghamton off the board for the entire second quarter and only allowed four second half tallies as he recorded eight saves.

It was just the second career game for the Georgia native and his first saves at the Division I level.

ABOUT THE COLONIALS
Robert Morris opened its season with a win at Bucknell, 12-9, Feb. 11, and has had over a week to prepare for the Bonnies.

RMU was picked to finish third in the ASUN Preseason Poll and enters this season as the defending ASUN champions, holding off Utah in overtime, 18-17, in the conference title game last spring.

Multiple all-conference selections from last year's team return, including sophomore goalie Nate Randall who was named to the ASUN All-Rookie Team last year with 112 saves. Faceoff specialist Bo Columbus had a winning percentage of better than 55 percent the last two years while Taggart Clark is the all-time leading ASUN leader with 48 goals and 65 points last year.

Nick Pelletier scored four goals at Bucknell in the season opener while Will Johansen posted two. Randall made 16 saves in net.
