NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – St. Bonaventure freshman
Quinn Nolan has the honor of taking home the first Atlantic 10 men's lacrosse award in program history as the first-year faceoff specialist has been tabbed the league's Rookie of the Week, officials announced Monday.
Nolan has impressed at the faceoff dot in his first two collegiate games.
On Saturday vs. Binghamton, he posted 13 faceoff wins as well as five groundballs in Bona's overtime heartbreaker at home.
The Palmyra, N.Y. native also delivered 11 faceoff wins, eight groundballs and a goal in his collegiate debut Feb. 11 at Bellarmine.
St. Bonaventure is back in action Tuesday at Robert Morris. Game time is slated for 4 p.m. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
