WEST POINT, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Army West Point on the road Sunday afternoon.
Hugo Cochlin and Norka Sanchez teamed up for a win at No. 3 doubles, but Army was able to grab the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
In singles action, Rasmus Egehus and Connor Turner were both victorious in three-set matches. Egehus defeated Samuel Eden at No. 2, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6. Turner battled back from a set down to take down Vishnu Bodavula at No. 3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The Bonnies return to action Friday, March 24 on the road at Siena.
