ALBANY, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team took down Siena, 4-3, Friday evening on the road.
The Saints jumped out to an early team lead, sweeping all three doubles matches.
Moving into singles action, Rasmus Egehus got the Bonnies on the board with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 7-6.
The Bonnies (7-7, 1-1 A-10) then captured wins at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to earn the team victory.
Hugo Cochlin battled to a three-set victory at No. 4, 7-5, 4-6, 13-11 while Anargha Ganguly bested his opponent at No. 5 singles in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6.
Luke Young clinched the victory with a clutch win at No. 6 singles, winning in three sets, 7-6, 2-6, 10-8.
The Bonnies are back in action Thursday, March 30 at home when they host Marist at 7:00 p.m.
