ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team scored wins in two out three matches at the SBU Fitness Center this past weekend.
The Bonnies took down Marist 4-2 Thursday evening to start the homestand. Bona's defeated Duquesne, 5-2, Friday afternoon before falling to Dayton Sunday, 4-1.
Bona's captured wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take an early 1-0 team lead with the doubles point in hand.
In singles action, the Bonnies got wins from Archie Graham, Anargha Ganguly and Norka Sanchez, earning the victory over the Red Foxes.
Moving to Friday, the Bonnies strong doubles play continued, winning the doubles point from the Dukes with victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
Ganguly, Hugo Cochlin, Connor Turner and Luke Young were all victorious in singles play against Duquesne, giving the Bonnies the Atlantic 10 victory.
Dayton started the match with an 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point, claiming wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Cochlin was able to pick up his second conference singles win of the weekend with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles.
The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, April 15 at George Mason.
