Women's Tennis Drops Pair of Weekend Matches

AMHERST, Mass. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team fell in a pair of matches against Siena and UMass Friday and Saturday on the road.

The Bonnies dropped Friday's match to the Saints, 6-1, and fell to Atlantic 10 foe UMass, 4-0, Saturday morning.

Against the Saints, Sienna Smith and Amelia Haley teamed up for a win at No. 2 doubles for the Bonnies, but Siena won the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3.

In singles action, Kashish Bote battled to a three-set win over Emma Boggiali at No. 5 singles, 7-5, 1-6, 10-3.

The Bonnies are back in action at home Thursday, March 30 against Marist. The match is slated to begin at 4:00 p.m.
