ORLANDO – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis dropped its first round match of the Atlantic 10 Tournament, 4-0, to George Washington Thursday morning at the USTA National Campus.
Amelia Haley and Alexandra Jansson led in their doubles match, 4-3, but that match went unfinished as the Colonials took the opening point of the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
In singles action, Kashish Bote held a first set lead while Isabella Venter led 3-2 in her second set, however, they both went unfinished as GW clinched the match with singles victories at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5.
The Bonnies finish the year with a record of 9-15.
