ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — St. Bonaventure women's soccer junior
Savanna Mondesir-Singh earned two starts for Guyana's senior women's national team as they began action in the CONCACAF The Road to W Gold Cup tournament.
Mondesir-Singh played all 180 minutes for her country as they dropped their first match with Antigua & Barbuda, 2-1, and came storming back in their second game against Dominica for a 5-0 victory.
The tournament includes 34 senior women's national teams competing for a spot in the 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup. The qualification tournament splits teams into three different leagues and further separates them into different groupings. Guyana has been placed in League B Group A with Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, and Suriname. The winner of each of League B's groups will advance to the next stage.
Mondesir-Singh and Guyana round out their group stage play against Suriname on a date to be announced.
