LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies dropped a heartbreaker on the road last Sunday, playing Cleveland State down to the wire before conceding the game's first score in the 87th minute. A handful of late chances provided an opportunity for Bona to get on the board, but some timely defense by the Vikings and multiple connections with the crossbar closed the book on a 1-0 loss.

HOMECOMING
SBU has racked up lots of miles on the road this season already, playing five straight away games after opening the year at home. Matchups against Binghamton (8/21), Youngstown State (8/24), Saint Peter's (8/28), Post (8/31), and Cleveland State (9/7) have brought the Bonnies to five different U.S. states in the season's early going.

VETERAN LEADERSHIP
Giovanna Coghetto and Daniela De Souza, both fifth-year players, pace the team in points and have provided a large portion of the offense. They have recorded nine points (4G-1A) and four points (1G-2A), respectively.

ABOUT LONG ISLAND
  • The Sharks, members of the NEC, are led solely by head coach Jim O'Brien in his initial season with the program. A 24-year coaching veteran, he has compiled a 57% winning percentage.
  • The team boasts six point scorers, led by veteran forward Grace Hennig with five points (2G-1A).

ABOUT OAKLAND
  • The Golden Grizzlies are coached by Devin Zvosec in his second season with the program. Last season, they compiled a record of 3-14-2 as members of the Horizon League.
  • All but one of the team's goals this season have been scored by redshirt junior Brae Cole, who was recorded 10 points on five goals.

SERIES HISTORY
Thursday's meeting will be the first between St. Bonaventure and Long Island. The Bonnies have matched up with Oakland three total times with the most recent contest in 2015 ending as a 1-1 tie.
