The two sides traded scores in the second period before Loyola used an 8-0 spurt to end the half and take a 33-25 lead into the locker room.

GAME NOTES

  • Freshman Caitlin Frost made her season debut after missing the first five games due to injury. She finished the game with seven points and a team-best seven rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench.
  • With her basket in the second quarter, redshirt senior Isabellah Middleton reached 1,000 points for her collegiate playing career
  • The Bonnies were held to a 30.4 percent (14-for-46) shooting percentage from the field and were 7-for-22 (31.8 percent) from behind the arc.

QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH JIM CROWLEY
"Loyola's physicality impacted everything we wanted to do. We had a chance to build something a little more comfortable in the first quarter and we did not take advantage. They did a good job of imposing their will in the second quarter and into the third."

"Our whole gameplan was to take away the paint and get some scores in the paint. They did a good job of getting into the paint and we did not force them out high enough."

UP NEXT
The Bonnies head back out on the road following the Thanksgiving holiday to take on Buffalo Saturday, Nov. 30. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 p.m. at Alumni Arena.
