ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team captured a 7-0 victory over Le Moyne Saturday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center.

The Bonnies grabbed an early lead, capturing the doubles point from the Dolphins with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.

The duo of Abbie Tyler and Cirkeline Lundberg defeated Lilia Raiss and Stella Simeonova at the top flight, 6-1, while Isabella Venter and Sienna Smith bested Isabella Barona and Fiona Pepper, 7-5, at No. 2 doubles.

The Bonnies carried the momentum into singles action, sweeping all six singles matches en route to the victory.

Kelly Barnes, Tyler and Lundberg all captured wins in straight sets while Kashish Bote, Venter and Smith battled to three-set victories.

The Bonnies are back in action Wednesday, March 13 when they host Mercyhurst.
