DAYTON, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped a pair of Atlantic 10 matches to Duquesne and Dayton Saturday and Sunday on the road in Ohio.

The Bonnies fell to Duquesne, 4-0, Saturday afternoon and dropped Sunday's match to the Flyers, 4-0.

Against the Dukes, Sienna Smith and Kashish Bote were able to capture a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles, but Duquesne claimed wins at No. 1 and No. 2 to earn the doubles point.

The Dukes went on to win at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles to clinch the team win.

Sunday against the Flyers, Anastasia Gubanova and Isabella Venter were both leading in the third set of their singles matches, but did not finish due to Dayton clinching the team victory.

The Bonnies finish the regular season 8-14 overall and 1-4 against Atlantic 10 foes.

SBU is now off until April 24 when they begin play at the Atlantic 10 Tournament at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
