The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team travels to take on Quinnipiac Saturday, Sept. 7. Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m. at the Quinnipiac Soccer and Lacrosse Complex.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies took on Penn State on Labor Day, falling 4-0 to the Nittany Lions in University Park. Gabriel Addo paced the Bonnies offensively with four shots while Xaver Ehrlich registered a pair of chances.
In net, Nicolas Pucci made five saves for the Brown and White.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
As of Sept. 5, Bonnies junior goalkeeper Nicolas Pucci leads the Atlantic 10 with 19 saves and 360 goalkeeper minutes played.
The Cary, N.C native also ranks third in saves per game, stopping 4.8 shots per game.
ROAD WARRIORS
Saturday marks the fourth of five straight games on the road for the Brown and White.
Following the contest against the Bobcats, the Bonnies will travel to Little Three rival Niagara Saturday, Sept. 14, looking to complete a sweep of the Little Three for the second straight season.
The Bonnies return home for the first time since the season opener Aug. 22 when they host in-state opponent Le Moyne Wednesday, Sept. 18.
QUINNIPIAC NOTES
Quinnipiac enters Saturday's contest 1-2 to begin the season, defeating Columbia 2-0 in its last contest Aug. 30. The Bobcats fell to Providence (2-0) and Rhode Island (1-0) to begin the season. Quinnipiac finished the 2023 season 3-9-5 overall and 1-5-4 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. The Bobcats were picked to finish fifth in the MAAC preseason poll.
Filip Kangeman and Drew Seguro have scored a goal apiece for the Bobcats this season while Alex Miller, Fredrik Moen and Like Schierenbeck have all tallied an assist.
Karl Netzell has started all three games in goal for Quinnipiac, making nine saves and allowing three goals.

The Bonnies wrap up their stretch of five straight road games when they travel to take on Little Three rival Niagara. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
