ANNAPOLIS, MD – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team fell to Navy, 7-0, Saturday morning in the spring season opener.

The duo of Connor Turner and Chase Cahill-Welsh earned a win at No. 1 doubles for the Brown and White, defeating Charlie Spencer and Nathan Nguyen, 6-4.

Navy, however, earned the doubles point with team wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

In singles action, Turner battled in a three-set match, falling 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.

The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, Jan. 25 when they will take on Sacred Heart in West Point, N.Y. That match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
