The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team returns to the pitch when they host No. 24 George Mason to the Marra Athletics Complex Saturday, Oct. 11. Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies suffered a 2-0 setback to Rhode Island last Saturday on home turf.

The Rams scored the game's first goal in the 57^th minute and sealed the win with a score in the 90^th minute.

Callum Shillington paced the Bonnies with four shots in the contest.

TEAM LEADERS
Heading into the final month of the season, graduate student Seth Hammond leads the Bonnies and the Atlantic 10 with six goals while ranking second in the A-10 with 13 points.

Junior Kyle Macfarlane is second on the squad with seven points on three goals and an assist. Graduate Ricardo Rittersberger Galan has six points for the Brown and White, netting a pair of goals and adding two assists.

DEFEND HOME TURF
Dating back to 2015, the Bonnies are 1-0-1 at the Marra Athletics Complex against ranked opponents.

The Bonnies defeated No. 22 VCU in 2017, 2-1, clinching a berth to the Atlantic 10 Tournament on the final day of the regular season.

During the 2022 season, the Bonnies tied with No. 16 Dayton, 1-1, on home turf.

The Bonnies are 2-2-1 at home this season, earning wins over Canisius and George Washington while drawing Mercyhurst.

GEORGE MASON NOTES

• The Patriots enter Saturday ranked No. 24 nationally with a 5-4-1 overall record and 2-1-1 mark in Atlantic 10 play, capturing wins over Loyola Chicago and George Washington while drawing with Davidson. The Patriots were picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll, earning three first-place votes.
• Jacobo Sanfeliu leads the Patriots with 14 points on six goals and two assists while Marti Sereno is just behind him with 11 points on five goals and an assist. James Eliuda and Kelly Janssen have seven points each for George Mason.
• In net, Jaume Salvado has started all nine games, making 43 saves and allowing 19 goals.
• George Mason assistant coach Noel Orozco is no stranger to St. Bonaventure, appearing in 36 matches and making 33 starts for the Bonnies from 2015-16.

UP NEXT
The Bonnies head back out on the road Saturday, Oct. 18 when they travel to take on Dayton. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Ohio.
