The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team travels to Fordham for the season finale Saturday, Nov. 1. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. in the Bronx.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to La Salle last Saturday at the Marra Athletics Complex.
The Explorers grabbed the game's first goal in the 54th minute, but the Bonnies answered in the 65th minute when Avery Dreasky headed home his second goal of the season.
La Salle, however, netted the game-winning goal in the 84th minute to take three points from the Brown and White.
ATOP THE ATLANTIC 10
Bonnies graduate student Seth Hammond has had a season to remember.
Entering the season finale Saturday, Hammond leads the Atlantic 10 with 21 points and is tied for the conference lead in goals and assists with seven each.
FORDHAM NOTES
· Fordham enters the final weekend of the regular season 7-5-3 overall and 4-1-2 in A-10 play, scoring wins over George Washington, VCU, Dayton and Duquesne. The Rams, however, have dropped three straight contests to Saint Louis, Hofstra and Columbia. Fordham was picked to finish fourth in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
· Daniel D'Ippolito sits second in the Atlantic 10 with 17 points this season, tallying five goals and seven assists in 14 games. Daniel Lang has started all 15 games for the Rams, registering 10 points on four goals and two assists. In net, Tristan Stephani has made 10 starts, making 36 saves and allowing 11 goals.
