Women's Swim and Dive Concludes Third Day of Action at Atlantic 10 Championships

HAMPTON, Va. – St. Bonaventure women's swim and dive closed out day three of competition at the Hampton Aquaplex Friday evening.

The team sits in ninth with one day of action remaining in Virginia. George Washington leads with 438.5 points, followed by Richmond (383) and Duquesne (361). Fordham (264), Davidson (237.5), George Mason (216), La Salle (209), and Massachusetts (202) sit ahead of the Bonnies (158), while Rhode Island (131) and Saint Louis (57) round out the leaderboard.

Halle Myers picked up a fifth-place finish in the 100-butterfly. She improved upon her prelim time of 54.98 to touch the wall in 54.68 in the finals.

Junior Nele Vetter finished as the runner-up in the B-final race of the 200-free. Vetter recorded a time of 1:51.11, earning the team seven points.

In the 100-back, sophomore Anna Bojana Forjan claimed seventh-place with a time of 54.87. Junior Daciana Colon competed in the consolation final of the 100-back, earning 15th (56.46).

1-meter silver medalist Dhavgely Mendoza earned a spot in the consolation finals of the 3-meter dive, posting a score of 233.45 in the prelim round. The rookie improved her score to 247.00 in the finals to take 14th.

In relay action, Bojana Forjan, Sarah Gonzalez, Myers, and Vetter combined for a time of 3:45.44 in the 400-medley.
