VESTAL, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory on the road at Binghamton Saturday afternoon.
The doubles team of Sienna Smith and Kashish Bote picked up a win at No. 2, 6-1, but Binghamton grabbed wins at No. 1 and No. 3, earning the doubles point.
In singles action, Tamara Bachmann, Smith and Bote earned straight set wins at No.2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
At the top spot, Isabella Venter battled back from a set down to capture the clinching point for the Brown and White.
Venter bested Loren Cuomo, 4-6, 6-1, 6-1, en route to the victory.
The Bonnies are back in action Monday, Feb. 24 when they host Ashland at 1:00 p.m. and the University Fitness Center.
