Bonnies Continue Spring Season at Penn State and Buffalo

BUFFALO – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to Penn State and Buffalo on the road Saturday and Sunday.

The Bonnies fell to the Nittany Lions, 7-0, Saturday morning before dropping Sunday's match to UB, 6-1.

Bona's started fast against the Bulls, winning the doubles point to take an early team lead.

The duo of Connor Turner and Chase Cahill-Welsh defeated Cheng Tang and Faiz Nasyam at the top spot, 6-4. Anargha Ganguly and Davis Matney clinched the doubles points for the Brown and White at No. 2, taking down Emiliano Jorquera and Daniils Snaiders, 6-4.

The Bulls, however, swept all six singles matches, earning the victory.

The Bonnies are back in action Sunday, March 3 when they take on North Carolina A&T in Orlando, Fla.
