WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure placed 303 student-athletes on the 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, conference officials announced Monday.

That number represents nearly 77 percent of St. Bonaventure's student-athlete population and is an increase over last year's 278 honorees. Despite having the league's smallest enrollment, the Bonnies still were above the A-10 average of 289 recipients per school.

Designed to recognize excellence in the classroom, a student-athlete in an Atlantic 10-sponsored sport at a full member institution must have a combined fall and spring semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year to be selected for the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Both freshmen and graduate students are eligible to receive the award.

Bona's average GPA of 3.63 also stands highly among all A-10 members. With 210 Bonnies achieving at 3.5 GPA or better, SBU stands behind only Fordham (264), Davidson (251), Saint Louis (225) and Rhode Island (214) in that category.

Bonnies baseball posted 35 student-athletes on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, just ahead of women's cross country/track with 34. Men's soccer (31), men's cross country/track (30), women's lacrosse (28), men's lacrosse (27), softball (23) and women's soccer (23) also were among departmental leaders.
