The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team continues its non-conference slate Wednesday, Sept. 3, traveling to face Le Moyne. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Ted Grant Field in Syracuse.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies battled Mercyhurst to a 0-0 draw Sunday afternoon at the Marra Athletics Complex.
Bona was unable to capitalize against a shorthanded Lakers side that finished the match with just nine players.
The Bonnies created several late opportunities, including an 82nd-minute strike from Ricardo Rittersberger Galan that rattled off the post and a shot from Seth Hammond that found the side netting in the closing seconds.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Freshman goalkeeper Felix Schöne posted a pair of shutouts last week for the Brown and White.
He earned his first collegiate win and clean sheet last Thursday in a 1-0 road victory at Saint Francis (PA) before adding his second shutout in Sunday's draw with Mercyhurst.
LE MOYNE NOTES
- The Dolphins enter Wednesday's contest 0-3-0, with losses to Delaware (2-0), Lafayette (1-0) and Cornell (3-0).
- Last season, Le Moyne finished 7-6-4 overall and 4-3-1 in Northeast Conference play, falling to Fairleigh Dickinson in the NEC Tournament semifinals on penalty kicks.
- The Dolphins were picked fourth in the 2025 NEC preseason poll.
- Le Moyne returns 21 players from last year's roster, including four All-NEC honorees over the past two seasons: Maximilian Huss, Vito Kreizpaintner, Felix Ludemann and Jakob Priestman.
WHEN WE LAST MET
The Bonnies and Dolphins played to a 1-1 draw last season at the Marra Athletics Complex.
Le Moyne took a 1-0 lead late before Andres Javitt netted the equalizer in the 84th minute.
UP NEXT
The Bonnies return home Wednesday, Sept. 10, to host Little Three rival Canisius. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Complex.
